For those who did not know, my brother Ricky died December 28, 2007 at the age of 51.

I thought it appropriate to post some pictures of Rick.

The cat?  Rick always had a cat.  His last cat now has a new home in Milwaukee, WI.

I am sure many people think it high time I say something about the Loescher (pronounced "lusher) Family Reunion in August.

If I could have gotten the weather man (Ken) to cooperate, we would have had temps around 80 an dew points closer to 50.  I guess the weather man has been running "hot" for awhile so our reunion was cut shorter than I would have liked.  90+ and high humidity dampened (the older folks) appetites and stamina.

However, despite the weather, I believe a good time was had by all.  Loeschers showed up from Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, Alaska, and California. In all there were  approximately 87 attendance at the Saturday event and 35 at the Sunday morning breakfast.

We braved the torrential downpour, high winds, chees curds, and bullbytes but we went to the State Fair opening anyway.  Emily was competing in the talent show.  She won the

Open Division singing I Go To The Rock. This is Emily working.  She now will appear at the Grandstand Finals on Sept 2 to compete against the other winners.  As you might remember, last year she was runner-up to a group of cloggers.

Ken, did you mean Mama Mias os my mothers recipe?  Betsy thanks for all the suggestions...you are such a planner

A Time to Update

Wow!  Has it really been that long since I have changed this site?  What have I been busy doing?  Real Estate is a full time plus job.  Between the projects we have, see www.sandygreenrealty.com, and the rental properties, time seems to really pass quickly.

Kitchen of our 2 b3droom, 2 bath, woodburning fireplace, fantastic downtown skyline view, not one offer.  I gues it is time to rent it again.  Know anybody looking?  $1250 per month, includes heated parking.

A real wood burning fireplace is hard to find in the city in a newer building.

See that tall building...our condo is on the 8th floor right on Wisconsin Avenue across the street form the Convention Center, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and all thosr fine places.  It will be finished in October but we won't close on it until January.
